All Saints, Fyvie
Tractarian four-bay aisleless nave designed by John Henderson and built in 1849. Stained glass in the south, west, nw nave and chancel windows.
Early English aisleless nave and chancel by John Henderson 1849. The fine tower with the slated broach spire was added in 1870. Described by Rev John B Pratt in Buchan (1870) as ‘one of the finest examples of a Scottish village church’. The site of this church was given by the 4th Earl of Aberdeen and Queen Adelaide was among the donors to the original fund for the building.
Crosses and a sheaf of arrows from Fyvie Priory are incorporated in the walls. The altar and reredos are from St Margaret’s, Forgue. Organ by David Hamilton of Edinburgh, recently restored by Sandy Edmonstone. Stained glass in the south, west, nw Nave and Chancel.
